Self-Care is …
Do you agree?
Have you thought about Self-Care not being comfortable like a facial or bubble bath?
Just like you don’t love your child in a best way if you allow everything, eating only chocolate and never expecting any work to be done..right?
The same goes for you and for your Self-Care.
We moms tend to put ourselves always behind and not taking self-time for pampering and relaxation, therefore no surprise that Self-Care topics try to tackle rather these aspects to remind us to keep it balanced.
But! Self-Care also means the hard work:
· exercising your body
· deal with your negative thoughts and emotions (a really hard work)
· take on conflicts, because you say NO or set up your bounderies
Self-Care also includes saying NO to comfortable, tempting things
· saying NO to alcohool if you would only use it for escaping your reality
· saying NO to some juicy food and choose real NUTRITION
· saying NO to an instant gratification (like a chocolate cake, Netflix, scrolling social media)
It isn’t always unicorns and rainbows.. but I promise to you that this wholeness of Self-Care result in more fulfillment/proudness/happiness/satisfaction/energy.
We’ll tackle some of these points in the upcoming weeks. Which one is the most inspiring for you? Could you continue the bullet points?
XO
