The best 3 tips for anchoring in the NOW

Anchor in the present moment…

How often are you living truly in the present moment? When was the last time when you stopped for a moment just to get amazed by the world around you?

I’m sure we don’t even recognize how quickly we go on autopilot so that our brain can repeat the yesterday’s tasks  effieciently. We have to be conscious to be able to slow down our mind and truly enjoy the NOW. So how? Here are 3 tips, which are easy enough to follow and  will definitely help You to take a break and enjoy LIVING.

·        Tip#1 – Focus on your breathing

No wonder that so many meditation technics, gurus and yoga use the breathing. When you focus on your breathing you are mastering your mind. You not only slow down the breathing itself, but you slow down your busy mind. You can anchor in the moment. Just breathe slowly and focus on your breathing in and out... in the morning or through the day anytime when you feel anxious or overwhelmed.

·        Tip#2 – Focus on simple actions

It’s quite easy but we don’t do this often. Just focus on the activities that you’re doing. When you wash your hands focus on the touch of the water, on the smell of the soap.. or when you have a shower feel the water on your body, smell the different products your’re using, focus on the plashing..It can be as simple as that. When you’re doing it you can think of your beautiful life how lucky you are that you’ve hands, legs, eyes to see, nose to smell, ears to hear..We take so many things granted, but looking at the world like this will help us to truly be amazed by our present

·        Tip#3 – Use your skin’s senses

My favorite is a massage or facial but you can do with anything else. Your skin is your biggest organ, every inch of your skin feels. Use and enjoy this! If you like having a facial or massage, go for it. If not, then use your own hands to massage your face or stroke your baby’s hair. Again..focus on the feeling and enjoy the touch. When you manage your mind like this, you can slow down the hectic work of your brain and you can just be in the present moment.

Slow down, stop for a moment and enjoy yourself. Everything will be simpler and much more fun!
