Self-Care excuse Part IV - Money

I can’t afford it

I shouldn’t spend on this

This part could be very short 😊 Because it’s absolutely only up to you to decide how much you spend on Self-Care. There are so many super activities which are completely free: like walking in the woods, or reading a good book..But, anyway I want to address now the „expensive” ways as well.

First of all you need to know what’s the best way for you. Get clear on which activities fill you up regardless the price. Then you can prioritize and schedule them according to your wallet. I’m sure there are free things among them and maybe some more expensive like luxury spa treatment or a holiday on the beach

Schedule the affordable ones first and keep dreaming, find a place for the more expensive ones as well.

I’m sure you heard about money mindset, money mindset coaching
you can choose a free video on youtube or a good book to learn more. (I would recommend Jen Sincero or Denis DT :) ) The idea behind is that we’re limiting ourselves with our own believes so for example „expensive” is something we define for ourselves..

It’s key to see that we’re paying for the RESULT. Always. Not for the time, not for their costs, but for our own result at the end.

So if you go to a SPA and the facial treatment costs twice as much as your normal, would you try it or not? Would you say no at once or would you consider the result worth of trying? It can be that isn’t really better than your original facial at home, but if you feel like it would be soooo good to try, go ahead and allow yourself to experiment.

I’m sure you know the situation when you see a cute dress for your babygirl or a super new toy for your boy and money or expensive mean totally other things in that moment 😉

So just pay attantion to yourself as well. It’s also a good practice to think about death time to time (sorry I don’t want to be morbid, it’s just the reality that one day we will die) and realize that we won’t take any money with us, but our soul full of emotions ...yes..So don’t postpone everything..

I remember going to have my first „expensive” facial for 60$. That time it was truly expensive for me, a good portion of my monthly saving. I was hoping that for this money I should get something amazing.. and I did. It was fantastic. I still remember that relaxed feeling, though I have had more expensive ones since then.

It doesn’t mean that Self Care needs to be expensive, or the more expensive the better. NOT at all. I just want you to get over price and consider YOURSELF valuable enough to try „expensive’ things as well - if you want to.

I’m not going to get into your wallet and tell you what’s worth it or not..there are so many great ways to enjoy SelfTime and pamper ourselves. I just want you to be open to new, even luxurious things without guilt.

If you haven’t let yourself experience Luxury, then go for it and enjoy! What if you would buy a more expensive moisturizer, or you would have a more expensive facial that you already dreamed about, or you would buy a fine wine or paleo cake.. whatever, just break your own limits! It will be exciting!😉

I’m curious whether you truly do something new..:) Please, let me know in the comments!:)

XO
