How to find time for Self-Care?
When we put everything and everybody in front of us, and ourselves always to the end of the line... fatigue and burn out will come for sure.
We could prevent it by scheduling (and respecting those) self-care activities regularly.
Even if you have small kids.
Even if you say you don’t have any support.
Even if you can come up with all the excuses.
If you focus on why it can’t work for you, why it’s not possible for you... then you won’t have creative ideas about the possibility.
If you decide that you are worthy and need self-care and would like to be a balanced mom, then ask yourself questions of HOW:
How can I create some self-time every day?
How can I take care of my own well-being every day?
How can I find a solution with having kids?
How can I find one hour every weekend for myself?
It’s amazing how creative our brain can be when we direct it to the correct direction. You will come up with ideas.
Taking good care of yourself is extremely important both for you and for your family.
Being a martyr isn’t cool. Burn out as a mom isn’t cool. Not asking for help isn’t cool.
Be an example in your environment for what’s possible.
